2/8/19 Mike Winkelmann

Early this morning, some very sad news was shared.  Mike Winkelmann, long time basketball and field hockey official, passed away of a heart attack after reffing youth basketball games last night. As you all know, Mike was loved by our community over the years, especially our FH players.  He always had a stash of steak-n-shake hats to hand out to players when they had a hat trick.  He also had an incredible memory - he never forgot the name of a player or coach. He was always an advocate for our athletes and loved being a part of our FH community. He will be missed dearly!
